Simple Water Feature for the Garden

It really doesn’t have to be more complicated than this. A simple shallow container is everything you need to bring a touch of water to the garden.

Make sure that the inside of the container is dark. Darker colors bring forth the reflection in the water.

Japanese Maple ”Orange Dream”

This little tree is the centrepiece of my garden. I planted it in the sunny corner of the garden but had to move it since it prefers quite a lot of shade. Today it’s placed in a spot that gets around four hours of sun in the middle of the day and it’s doing wonderfully!

The name Orange Dream describes its spring color. Later in the season it turns lime green and shines all the way though fall.
